On July 17, 1996, 230 people – all passengers and crew members – were killed when TWA Flight 800 exploded and crashed near my hometown on Long Island.
Was it an accident – an exploding fuel tank – or intentional…one or more missiles? If the latter: was it a military mishap or intentional? Here is my research (video = 20 minutes; too long to post here).
At the TWA Flight 800 Memorial on Long Island there are 14 flags allegedly representing the nationalities of the victims; why does Wikipedia indicate there are 13 flags? Could the flags mean something else entirely?
From my research: the plane was a flying daycare center…over 45 children were on the plane. The ages of most of the child victims are not disclosed.
